Ingredients
- 6 roma tomatoes
- 3 chiles de árbol
- 2 guajillo chiles
- 3 garlic cloves, unpeeled
- 1/4 white onion
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Char the tomatoes, chiles, garlic and onion on a dry comal until blistered.
- Peel the garlic once cool.
- Grind everything in a molcajete or pulse in a blender, keeping it rustic.
- Season with salt and a splash of water to loosen.
