Ingredients

  • 4 large roma tomatoes, finely diced
  • 1/2 white onion, minced
  • 2 jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Dice the tomatoes into small, uniform pieces and place in a bowl.
  2. Add the minced onion, jalapeños, cilantro and garlic.
  3. Squeeze the lime juice over everything and season with salt.
  4. Toss gently to combine, being careful not to crush the tomatoes.
  5. Let sit for 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld, then serve immediately.
