Ingredients
- 600 g white fish fillets, cut into strips
- 1 cup flour, 1 cup cold beer
- 1 tsp baking powder, paprika, salt
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup crema mixed with chipotle
- Flour tortillas and lime wedges
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Whisk flour, baking powder, spices and beer into a smooth batter.
- Heat oil to 180°C.
- Dip the fish strips and fry until golden and crisp, about 3 to 4 minutes.
- Toss cabbage with a little lime and salt.
- Fill warm tortillas with fish, slaw and a drizzle of chipotle crema.
