Ingredients
- 2 cups masa harina
- 1.5 cups warm water
- 1 cup refried beans
- Crumbled queso fresco
- Mexican crema and shredded lettuce
- Salsa roja or verde
Instructions
- Knead masa harina with water into a soft dough.
- Form thick discs and cook on a comal for 1 minute per side.
- Pinch up the edges while warm to form a rim.
- Crisp in a little oil, then layer beans, lettuce, crema, cheese and salsa.
