Ingredients

  • 400 g tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded Oaxaca or cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked ground beef or shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup jalapeños, sliced
  • 1/2 cup black beans, warmed
  • Mexican crema, salsa roja, guacamole
  • Cilantro, lime and queso fresco
  • Sour cream optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.
  2. Spread tortilla chips on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  3. Sprinkle the meat, beans, jalapeños and cheese evenly over the chips.
  4. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Remove from oven and drizzle with crema and salsa.
  6. Top with guacamole, cilantro, queso fresco and lime juice.
  7. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
